TOP 5 COMIC BOOKS FOR FIRST TIME READERS

For a beginner, getting into comics might be somewhat intimidating. It might be daunting to know what to read or even where to start from because Marvel and DC have decades of continuity to go through and independent artists prefer to produce such a wide array of visuals. Comics are broad and cover many genres, which is one of the best things about them. Whether it's the typical superhero fare or something a little unusual, there's a comic for everyone. Following that, I've listed my top 5 comic book recommendations for new watchers and readers.

1. Gotham Academy (2014)

One of the first prominent comic book subgenres to appear is DC comics. For newbies, this fact alone makes it challenging or intimidating. Where do you even begin, after all? My recommendation? In the comic book series GOTHAM ACADEMY, unusual pupils attend a school that is supported by wealthy weirdos. Gotham Academy is surrounded by the heaviness of Batman's shadow. Gotham Academy will get you pumped and ready to take a deep dive into the expanded world of the "Cape Crusader" content, which is a terrific method to pique the interest of new, fledgling Batman fans.

2. Batman: Year one (1988)

You could now be thinking where I should begin with the "Caped Crusader"? Where better to start than at the beginning? Nothing sets the scene quite like a compelling origin tale. Batman has had a lot of different starts throughout the years, but Batman: Year One is a top-notch entry and a terrific place for new fans of the character to start. It investigates what prompted Bruce Wayne to don the cape in the first place and the turbulent relationship he had with the Gotham Police Department that followed, with a focus on Jim Gordon, who is credited with reviving Bruce Wayne's stale beginnings.

3. The Sandman (1988)

This is a must-try comic book if you want to start reading them. The Sandman is a gorgeously weird investigation of dreams and reality that centers on Morpheus, sometimes known as the Lord of Dreams. The world of dreams begins to fall apart when Morpheus was seized by an occultist seeking power, bringing about its violent collision with reality—an unnatural phenomena with deadly repercussions.

4. Daughters of Albion ( 2022)

The story revolves around a young woman named Hashani. When two dead bodies turn up on the banks of Rotherhithe Beach, things start to seem peculiar in the oppressive landscape of militarized London. Even while senseless killings aren't as prevalent as they once were, this one is peculiar and proves to be so much more than the typical, heinous homicide. There are aspects of science fiction, fantasy, magic, and mythology in this genre-bending mashup. It's a terrific place to start for novices who want to gain an advantage in the world of comic books.

5. Ms. Marvel: Kamala Khan (2016)

Taking things a little easier than our previous entry, Ms. Kamala Khan is a book for readers who desire a more gradual introduction to the world of comic comics. I present to you Carol Danvers' replacement and the most recent Ms. Marvel. A humorous Superhero adventure is a great place to start. You actually don't need to know much about the Marvel Universe to enjoy this story; the comic does an excellent job of explaining what you need to know, even though it does make references to previously known Marvel canon.

My particular favorites are those that are easy to read and have uncomplicated plots. How do you feel about the list? Are there any particular entries that hit you hard? Please share your ideas, questions, suggestions, and even arguments in the space provided below.
